The NEOX NS7946-74XKSB is a high performance 25GbE aggregation router or entry-level Provider Edge IP/MPLS router that consists of fixed 64 x 10G/25G SFP28 and 10 x 100 QSFP28 QSFP-DD (two of them are supporting high power optics) network interface configuration with External BCM16K Lookup Engine enables the 2RU compact design to be deployed as a feature-rich standalone IP/MPLS or Peering router. The BCM16K Knowledge-Based Processor (KBP) performs high-speed operations on large-rule databased for a wide range of telecommunications applications and currently used for expanding routing tables to accommodate Internet routing table in hardware. NS7946-74XKSB is engineered with the latest Broadcom StrataDNX™ Qumran2C silicon and combined with an external lookup engine that targets for use cases as an aggregation router for xhaul, IP/MPLS Provider Edge router, DCI Interconnect router or Peering/Edge router. The NS7946-74XKSB is using ONIE as a bootloader and is shipped with mature and feature-rich VelOS network operating system.
